Add Some Architectural Trim!

By

If you’re ever going to be remodeling a room or building a house and want to add some classic interior window trim that is missing in so many modern homes, consider the nearly forgotten “bulls-eye rosette.” This is an easy and inexpensive way to replicate the charm of early 20th century architecture. Made of wood and available online or in some hardware stores, you can stain them any color you want. Or, as in this case, you can simply leave the rosette natural, protecting it with two coats of Minwax® Fast-Drying Polyurethane, just as I did to this window back in 1998.

Until next time,

Thanks for stopping by!
