When you’re using Minwax aerosol products, or if you’re planning on using these convenient sprays, here are some helpful tricks to get smooth sprays on edges.
NAILED IT – WITH POLYSHADES!
I wanted to use the aerosol version of Minwax® Polyshades® — stain and finish in a single can — on this large picture frame I made, but knew I needed to raise the frame off my workbench to get an even application along the bottom edge. So, before spraying, I lightly tapped a finish nail into the back of each corner, and rested the frame on the four nails. Afterwards, I just wiggle them out and save the finish nails for my next spraying project.
NEED SOMETHING TO HOLD SMALLER OBJECTS UP? SAVE YOUR CAPS!
We are all into re-purposing, right? So hang onto those aerosol caps and use them for stands when spraying small projects, such as these unfinished drink coasters I stained with Minwax® Water Based Wood Stains, then finished with Minwax® Polycrylic® Protective Finish.
Until our next time,
Thanks for stopping by!
